Browsing this website sets no cookies whatsoever. There is no analytics, no advertising, no remarketing and no third-party tracking, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner asking you to. The only cookie this site can set belongs to the content-management system and appears only after a member of Medilink staff signs in.
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer or mobile device. On the next visit the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise the same browser — to keep you signed in, for example, or to remember a setting. Cookies can also be used to follow people between websites, which is what most consent banners are about.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|---|
authjs.session-token | Keeps a signed-in administrator signed in while they edit the site's content. Strictly necessary — without it the content manager cannot work. | 8 hours | Medilink staff only |
That is the complete list. A visitor who does not sign in to the administration area receives no cookies at all.
Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary for the service you asked for. A session cookie that exists only so a signed-in administrator stays signed in is strictly necessary, and it is never set for ordinary visitors. Since nothing else is stored, there is nothing to ask you about — and we would rather leave the banner out than show one that asks for permission we do not need.
Every modern browser lets you block cookies, delete the ones already stored, or refuse them from particular sites. The setting is usually under privacy or site settings in the browser's preferences. Blocking cookies will not affect your use of the public pages of this site in any way.
Some pages link out to manufacturers' websites and to our online shop at medicinaspreces.lv. Those are separate websites with their own cookie practices — this policy covers only medilink.lv.
For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy. You can also write to medilink@medilink.lv.
